CW Upfronts: No Veronica

The CW presented upfronts today, and Veronica Mars was sadly missing.  Though they haven't actually cancelled it, by most estimates it is dead.

This is sad mainly because Rob Thomas won't get a chance to properly end the show.  Next season, Rob has proposed fast forwarding to Veronica in her first year in the FBI academy.  This would be terrific to see, even as a made for TV movie, just to give us some closure.
