Battlestar Galactica: Razor

I’ve had time to digest Razor, and I’m still a little unsure. I’ve been struggling since I seen it do determine if I was just happy to see any BSG, or was it really good. After all, it has been months, and will be more months, until we get the next season. Did my hunger for Galactica skew my viewing experience? I think it did.

It’s not that I didn’t enjoy the movie, but it didn’t feel like a movie…made for TV as it was. It was great to see what happened with the crew during that time, from a different point of view. But, I still felt as if something was missing, that it should have been more than the equivalent of 2 special episodes of the series.

Other than the revelation at the end with regards to Starbuck, nothing moved the story along any further. I’m going to accept it for what it was…a snack between seasons. Nothing more. I give it a glad-I-seen-it.
