My Fair Brady Season 3 this Sunday
Although we don’t watch much if any reality television in my house, our guilty pleasure is The Surreal Life on VH1. The spin-off, My Fair Brady, has become one also. Season 3, starring Adrianne Curry (Next Top Model) and Christopher Knight (The Brady Bunch) begins tomorrow. The events of the show will be over a year old, as VH1 has been holding series for some reason. Back in August, Adrianne Curry wrote in her personal blog:
As most of you know, My Fair Brady was originally supposed to air in July. Then, it got pushed back to September. Now, I have been informed that they want a better show to pair it with so they are pushing it to January of 08. Yes, this show will be old and stale as hell. We filmed in pods this time, meaning that we filmed a week here, and a week there. I believe the last of our filming was in Febuary, so yes, the show will be a year or more old in parts…and the last bit will be almost a year old. They did the same thing with Fame Games. It took them forever to air it. However, when they did, it was very successful. they know what they are doing.
During season 4 of the Surreal Life, the cast was asked to pitch a show to VH1 as part of the game. My Fair Brady is essentially what Curry pitched during that episode. The first 2 seasons were a fun diversion, and it looks like we may even get a 4th
We have been asked about a 4th season of My Fair Brady. We are thinking long and hard about it all. If anything, I think I almost want people to see how much I’ve grown. This new season coming out is a year old. I don’t feel like people will be seeing who I am today.
It can be annoying at times (I’m sure because of the way the producers edit it), but mostly very entertaining. The dynamics between these 2 celebs are enjoyable to watch. If you usually don’t enjoy reality fare, give it a chance. If not only to see Peter Brady all grown up. Those who are fans, what about the delay of the episodes? Is it less interesting now?
Tell Me You Love Sonya Walger

This past fall, a show debuted on Showtime called “Tell Me You Love Me”. It was controversial because of the explicit depiction of sexuality, but my wife and I found it honest and interesting. It was well produced, and amazingly acted. One of the standouts was Carolyn, played by Sonya Walger of “Not Penny’s Boat” fame.
Believe It Or Not! A Greatest American Hero Movie
I don’t care what anybody says, The Greatest American Hero was an awesome show. It was perfect for the 80s, and I still can’t help but enjoy it even now. Read more
Alanis On Tour
Last month, Alanis announced her new tour with Matchbox 20. I have my tickets, and will be attending on February 2nd. It’s a shame that her new album, Flavors of Entanglement, isn’t released until April. As she will undoubtedly play songs from the new album on tour.
Below is a video from her official site. Read more
Lost Boys 2: Coming to a DVD Player Near You

Twenty years after the original Lost Boys, it looks like Corey Feldman is attempting to bring back one of his most popular characters in Lost Boys 2: The Tribe. Via SlashFilm, we have this link to Corey’s official site with new pictures and information.
December 18, 2007: Good news! You can check out an exclusive article about LOST BOYS 2: THE TRIBE at ShockTilYouDrop.Com!
The film has also been slated to get a four-issue comic book miniseries from DC Comics which bridges the gap between the original film and the upcoming sequel.
With all of the recent theatrical sequels that were made for money alone, you would think that they would give Lost Boys 2 a chance on the silver screen. I like Feldman in his movies (Goonies, Stand By Me,Dream a Little Dream), I always believed his problem was getting to associated with Haim. He is a better actor, and brings a unique character to the screen.
Let’s hope that LB2 lives up to the original.
New Indy 4 Pictures

Over at Vanity Fair there is a comprehensive article and several awesome pictures of the upcoming Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
Between them, George Lucas and Steven Spielberg have made 13 of the 100 top-grossing movies of all time. Yet they struggled for more than a decade with the upcoming fourth installment of their billion-dollar Indiana Jones franchise, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Annie Leibovitz gets exclusive access to the set, while Lucas, Spielberg, and their star, Harrison Ford, tell Jim Windolf about the long standoff over the plot, why critics and fans will be upset, and how they’ve updated Indy.
I am liking this new Indy more and more the more I see. Years ago, a friend of mine and I were talking about what they could do for a 4th Indy movie, and we came up with having a son from Marion Ravenwood. It is obviously not a unique idea, but it is exciting to see them exploring it. I think that Speilberg and Lucas have the utmost respect for the Indiana Jones franchise, and I think they really want to do it right.
That said, they have allot of expectations to live up to. Also, Harrison Ford hasn’t had a hit in years.
This better be good.
