Toby Lightman — Let Go

Yesterday, I purchased the newest album from Toby Lightman, “Let Go” and I really like it.I first came to know Toby’s work via a free download from iTunes. It was “Devils and Angels”. She quickly became one of my favorite artists.

The new album, “Let Go”, is definitely jazzy-ier than “Little Things” in a good way. Each song has that distinct Toby sound and beautiful folk-jazz beat. It’s difficult to pick my favorite tracks off the album as each song has it’s own strengths. Maybe after a few weeks of listening I’ll be drawn to a few.
