Anything I might say or not say about that last sequence could be construed as a spoiler, so I’m afraid you’ll just have to wait until the next bunch of episodes. Given the other questions I’ve been receiving since the episode ran, I may have to put that particular demur on a hot key, since it will be my standard answer re: anything involving the next episodes.

I for one believed that it was the Earth, and that the final shot was from Brooklyn, NY looking out to Manhattan (see animated pic to the right). But now with all of this evasive talk from show executives, I wonder if they have in fact not made it to Earth. It did strike me as odd that they would arrive at Earth (the goal of the entire series) in the middle of the season. I had expected it to be nearer to the end, with just enough time to wrap up storylines.

Have they made it to Earth? Are show runners simply toying with us to create a sense of uncertainty? If this is Earth, where do they go from here?

It’s not that I didn’t enjoy the movie, but it didn’t feel like a movie…made for TV as it was. It was great to see what happened with the crew during that time, from a different point of view. But, I still felt as if something was missing, that it should have been more than the equivalent of 2 special episodes of the series.

Other than the revelation at the end with regards to Starbuck, nothing moved the story along any further. I’m going to accept it for what it was…a snack between seasons. Nothing more. I give it a glad-I-seen-it.

It is being reported by SyFyPortal that this season on BSG that Six will no longer be present in Baltar's head.

"Say good-bye to the Six in Baltar's head," a source told SyFy Portal's Michael Hinman. "As much as we like Baltar having this controlling figure literally in his head, we couldn't keep it up forever."

I've always enjoyed that aspect of Baltar's personallity, but they did tend to overuse it as a plot device.  This type of change should have drastic affect of the character.  Although, SyFyPortal also reports.

"We all know that [Baltar] can't follow the 'plan' by himself, so he will get another visitor," the source said. "He'll be paid a visit by his own likeness that had been helping [Caprica] Six. It should really make things interesting in the last season as everyone tries to figure out who the final Cylon is."

We'll have to wait and see.

After watching a few minutes (I didn't make it through the whole thing) I am very excited about this season, not that I wasn't before.  They wanted to shake up the series, so the jump made sense.  I don't think I could have watched an entire season of colonizing the new planet.
