The highlight of the storyline was the exchange between Larry and Auntie Rae. Larry asserts that Auntie Rae not talk to the neighbors, because “…neighbors impose. I’d rather have the thieves than the neighbors – the thieves don’t impose. Thieves just want stuff. I’d rather give stuff than time.”

The B-story involved Funkhouser’s “crazy” sister who was just released from a mental institution. This was the episode story that was there to bring the funny. I’m not sure how I feel about Jeff cheating this early in the season, but maybe it could signal a turnaround in his relationship with Suzie. Them arguing is always good.

It was nice to see Cheryl (and Wanda) in the first episode. I’ve always felt that Cheryl Hines was an integral part of this show, so it is nice to see her back. We’ve always wondered what could make Larry David ( real Larry or Curb-Larry ) agree to a Seinfeld reunion. We have the answer now, the chance to get his wife back.

Three of the four stars of ‘Seinfeld’ have made guest appearances on ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ over the years. In Season 2 both Jason Alexander and Julia Louis-Dreyfus appeared as themselves when Larry was pitching a new TV show. And in Season 4′s finale, Jerry Seinfeld appears, wincing in the audience of ‘The Producers’ when Larry forgets his lines.

This season, Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jason Alexander and Michael Richards all appear as themselves. In real life, they’ve all denied any interest in reuniting. What changed their minds? Stay tuned…

The Seinfeld reunion is a ‘show within a show’. In Curb, Larry & Jerry will be making the reunion show. I don’t think any other show could pull this off. What a great way to make a reunion episode.

Curb is a very unique show that in my opinion is one of the greatest shows in television history. I was almost certain that season 6 was going to be the last, because I didn’t think even Larry could get out of the situation that he created. I’m so glad I was wrong.

Season 7 of “Curb Your Enthusiasm” begins September 20th on HBO.

If you’re a fan of neurotic comedians, then you’ll probably be interested in this next announcement. It seems that Larry David, co-creator of Seinfeld and star of Curb Your Enthusiasm, has signed on to star in Woody Allen’s next film! This sounds like a match made in heaven (or hell, depending on your opinion of the two).

The movie is currently untitled, and little is known about it other than the fact that Evan Rachel Wood is also supposedly on board.

I’m not a fan of Woody Allen, and have even gone as far as saying he was overrated. It was only recently with Match Point that I actually enjoyed a Woody Allen film. I’ve never been able to comprehend the ‘genius’ of Allen, but to each his own.

With Larry David now a part of the film, I am definitely interested. Granted, David usually shines when it’s his dialog, but his pairing with Allen is something to look forward to.
