At TVGuide.com Michael Ausiello has some casting news for the new season of Nip/Tuck which premieres 30 November on F/X.
Portia de Rossi will be joining the cast for nine episodes playing a lesbian mom whose teen daughter wants to go under the knife [and] John Schneider has been cast as the head of a major adult-video empire who previously worked with ex-porn princess Kimber.

TVGuide's Ausiello reported Bradley Cooper is the latest edition to Nip/Tuck.
A source close to the FX drama confirms that the Alias hottie has signed on for a five-episode arc to air during the show's upcoming fifth season.

The Hollywood Reporter is saying that Nip/Tuck has been given the green light for 3 more seasons on FX.
The eight-figure pact includes a commitment for Murphy to continue on the hit FX series for three more seasons. He also will develop new drama and comedy projects through a three-year overall deal with 20th TV, which begins immediately and includes a first-look component with FBC.
